Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a self-regulating model that helps a company be socially accountable to itself, its stakeholders, and the public. By practicing corporate social responsibility, companies can be conscious of the kind of impact they are having on all aspects of society, including economic, social, and environmental.

The Bank strives to make meaningful contribution to the socio-economic development of the country by encouraging gainful activities in the realm of education, health care, women empowerment, social welfare and other social activities which are mainly linked to rural masses such as imparting training to unemployed youth and knowledge dissemination and promoting financial literacy.

As a responsible corporate citizen, the Bank strives to contribute to the welfare of the society from where it derives its strength, apart from ensuring adherence to the mandatory targets fixed by GoI/ RBI.

Bank is carrying out CSR activities through RSETIs, FLCC centers, CFL and other CSR activities as donations and contributing actively to the socio-economic development through various activities in the following areas:

  • Skill Development through training programs to youth
  • Health Care, Sanitation, drinking water facilities, education/literacy
  • Women empowernment
  • Social welfare/economic development

We are supporting -67- RSETIs across PAN India’s for entrepreneurship development to rural and semi urban youths by providing free of cost training and boarding in various self-employment activities which aim to generate the employment opportunities.

Donation of vehicle to Adruta Children Home (A unit of RAWA Academy, Bhubaneswar) for commuting children from their centres to the schools located in various parts of the city and participate in extra-curricular activities for their overall development.

Health Care

Financial support for Paediatric Cardiac surgeries which offers free-of-cost treatment to impoverished children suffering from Congenital Health Disease (CHD). The treatment includes both pre- and post-operative care for CHD, along with a free residential stay for two attendees of the child in the hospital.

The Nirmal Jal 2.0 project was inaugurated on 1st October 2025 which is a solar-powered water purification unit to provide safe, sustainable drinking water in Kathumar Tehsil of Alwar District of Rajasthan in collaboration with NAB Foundation and is expected to bring lasting improvements in the health, education, and socio-economic well-being of the community.
