Bank of Baroda convened the 169th State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC) meeting of Rajasthan on 13th May, 2026, at Jaipur to review the banking performance and progress under various financial inclusion and government-sponsored schemes in the State. During the meeting, Shri Sanjay Vinayak Mudaliar emphasized the need to connect all unbanked villages with banking services, strengthen timely credit disbursement, improve the CD Ratio in line with RBI guidelines, and reduce inactive Business Correspondents. He also highlighted the important role of banks in achieving the vision of “Viksit Rajasthan 2047”. The meeting also focused on strengthening measures against Cyber Fraud through strict adherence to RBI guidelines and closer coordination with the Cyber Crime wing of the State Police. Bank of Baroda achieved national-level recognition at the 4th edition of RBI HaRBInger 2025. 496 teams from 15 countries competed at the highest level in this global hackathon, held under the theme “Secure Banking: Powered by Identity, Integrity, and Inclusivity.” This was the first time a bank participated in the RBI HaRBInger Hackathon. Competing across three problem statements - Tokenised KYC, Offline CBDC, and Enhancing Trust, our teams won two prestigious awards: 1. Winner (Best All-Women Team): Our all-women team secured the top spot across all categories for ‘NIDAAN’. 2. Runner-Up (Offline CBDC): Developed by the Baroda Research and Innovation Centre.
