Bank of Baroda has signed an MoU with the Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited – CCL to provide an electronic Fixed Deposit Receipt (e-FDR) facility to participants of the Multi Commodity Exchange. The MoU was signed in the presence of Shri Prafulla Chhajed (Chairman); Shri Srinivas Petturi (Public Interest Director & Former Executive Director, Bank of Baroda); Smt Kemisha Soni (Public Interest Director); Shri Narendra Ahlawat (Managing Director & CEO); Shri Arnav Kumar Datta (Head – Collateral); and Shri Praveen Kottyan (Head – Legal) from MCX CCL along with Shri Sunil Kumar Sharma, General Manager and Zonal Head, Bank of Baroda, Mumbai Zone. Under this collaboration, MCX CCL will enable its participants to place collateral through the e-FDR facility, while Bank of Baroda will facilitate seamless issuance and management of electronic Fixed Deposit Receipts. Bank of Baroda marked a milestone with the inauguration of its new Zonal Office premises and Baroda Academy in Jodhpur on 23 March 2026. Shri Sanjay Mudaliar, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda, inaugurated both the new Zonal Office premises and the Baroda Academy in the presence of Shri Nikhil Mohan, General Manager & Zonal Head, Jodhpur Zone; Shri Sunil Kumar Jha, Deputy General Manager (Compliance & Assurance); Shri Brahmanand Dwivedi, Deputy General Manager (Business Development); and Shri Vivek Singhal, Deputy General Manager & Regional Head, Jodhpur Region. During the Zonal Office premises inauguration, Shri Motilal Meena, Deputy General Manager & ZIAD Head; Shri Yogendra Saini, AGM & Dy. Bank of Baroda convened the State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC) meeting on 19th March, 2026 to review the performance for the quarter ending December 2025 at the Chief Secretary’s Office, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The meeting was chaired by Shri S. P. Goyal, Chief Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh, in the presence of Shri Lal Singh, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda & Chairman, SLBC, Uttar Pradesh. Shri Pankaj Kumar, Regional Director, RBI, Lucknow; Shri Chandradeep Kumar Jha, Deputy Director General, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India (through video conference); Shri Ravinder, Principal Secretary, Agriculture, Uttar Pradesh; Smt Sandeep Kaur, Director General, Institutional Finance, Uttar Pradesh; Smt Apurva Dubey, Director, SUDA; Shri Inderjit Singh, Director, UPNEDA; Shri Jaynath Yadav, AMD, UPSRLM; Shri Pankaj Kumar, Chief General Manager, NABARD, Lucknow; Shri Shailendra Kumar Singh, General Manager & Convenor, SLBC (Uttar Pradesh), along with senior officials from Central and State Government, SIDBI, other financial institutions and member banks also attended the meeting.
