Channel enabling/disabling and Limit Set process

Follow simple channel wise steps given below to enable/disable or set limit for Bank of Baroda Debit Cards:

1. bob World

Channel Enabling/disabling and Set limit steps:

  • Login to bob World app.
  • Go to "Cards" section.
  • All the Debit Cards (debit card in OPEN status) linked with customer ID will be displayed.
  • Select Debit Card for which channel enabling or set limit is required.
  • Go to “Manage” option.
  • Manage channels / Set limit as per requirement.
  • Click “Continue”.
  • Enter transaction PIN.
  • The success confirmation POP up screen will be visible.

2. By calling IVR – 1800 5000 / 1800 5700

Channel Enabling/disabling steps:

  • Please call on toll free no. 1800 5000 / 1800 5700 and follow instruction to enable desired channel

Note: International usage facility can be used only for the debit cards variants which are having the International functionality in the respective card variant


3. Bob World Internet (Internet Banking):

Channel Enabling/disabling steps:

  • Login to bob World Internet.
  • Go to " Services" tab.
  • Click on "Card Services" tab.
  • Click on "Set Daily Debit Card ATM & Pos/Ecom limits".
  • Select customer ID and click “Continue”.
  • Select the debit card for which channel enabling or set limit is required and click “Continue”.
  • Manage channels / Set limit as per requirement.
  • Click “Continue”.
  • Enter transaction password and click “Submit”.
  • The success confirmation message will be visible.

Note: International usage / contactless facility can be used only for the debit cards variants which are having the International / contactless functionality in the respective card variant.


4. Bank of Baroda ATM Machines in India:

Channel Enabling/disabling steps:

  • Go to BOB ATM.
  • Insert Debit Card and select Manage Debit Card.
  • Select Manage Channel.
  • Select ATM/POS/Ecomm/contactless.
  • Press suitable button for updating channel Usage for the respective card.
  • Suitable success/failure message will be displayed.

Note: International usage / contactless facility can be used only for the debit cards variants which are having the International / contactless functionality in the respective card variant.

Set limit steps:

  • Go to BOB ATM.
  • Insert Debit Card and select Manage Debit Card.
  • Select Set card limit.
  • Select ATM or POS/Ecomm limit as per requirement.
  • Enter desired ATM or POS/Ecomm limit with in maximum limit of the respective card variant.
  • Suitable success/failure message will be displayed.
